Car trading pushed to be returned, gains support of admins
by Migs, published March 26, 2012
SAN FIERRO - A player named Strato had recently suggested that car trading be returned in San Andreas. Car trading was known to be one of the famous businesses in the state with many people being involved in it, but due to advertisers and constant spamming, it was removed.
In his post, Strato wrote:
"Here's an idea that a lot of people would love to have it back. Vehicle trading has been removed due to the spam on the chat, so I have a great idea how to solve this problem so trading vehicles wouldn't bring any problems. "
Strato points out two solutions to the problem that car trading might give if it was to return. First, advertisers are to be stopped from spamming the main chat through warnings by an admin or a moderator. Second, a Citizens Band (CB) channel must be set up for those who plan to trade.
Comments by players to the suggestion was positive. Everyone wants it back even those who haven't experienced the process. Also, two admins (Konali and TheSandman) had expressed their support to the suggestion,

Another mess in Rockshore West district
by Migs, published March 27, 2012
LAS VENTURAS - Only less than a week after a major traffic disruption caused by a hacker spawning cars in Rockshore West, a new disruption was again reported today and it was also caused by a hacker, according to local authorities.
The hacker is said to have placed the cars in one of the sections of the bridge which connects Las Venturas and Wet County. The bridge is known to be an important commuting artery and is also known to for large traffics when an accident happens. The cars placed by a hacker caused the bridge to be impassable and traffic lasted for hours.
A clean up operation by local authorities and the San Andreas Highways Office has been quickly put into action. The huge amount of heavy vehicles hindered the speed of the operation. After several hours, the local authorities have successfully removed all of the cars and traffic returned to normal.
SAHO reported that the disruption caused traffic which stretched into the central area of Las Venturas and also nearly $5,000,000 in damages. With the series of disruptions on the bridge, Convoy Trucking might reconsider the complaints on the bridge regarding the traffic.

Large convoys now common, leaves problem
by Migs, published March 30
SAN FIERRO - As large convoys become a common sight in the state of San Andreas, analysts say that the economy in the state had improved. According to residents and commuters however, it leaves a problem that affects not only them but the whole state.
Analysts say that the large convoy helps improve the economy by the huge amount of deliveries being done in the state, which helps move a lot of materials which also helps raise income for the state.
The population however say it leaves a massive problem. These large scale convoys, they say, which are usually 5 km long, leaves massive traffic in the route it goes to as well as increasing the number of accidents it the state. It has been proved by the traffic experienced around the state (which lasts to a hour or more) and the increasing amount of accidents, some massive and fatal, along its highways.
Even though what people say about the large convoys, this has helped to improve brotherhood among truckers, as well as the fun of the old CVT era had returned through this simple way.

Smokey bans 10,000th player, others disagree
by Migs, published May 6
SAN FIERRO - The anti-cheat system of Convoy Trucking, known as Smokey had banned its 10,000th player last Thursday.
The 10,000th hacker who was banned was named as McMuffin with the result being teleport hack. Most of the community congratulated the anti-cheat system and also celebrated. Some are in regret due to not being there to see it.
Celebrations are cut short however due to an analysis done by some in the community. The said analysis reported that Smokey did not reached the 10,000 ban mark, and also proved that an accurate counter for the hackers that were banned were in place. They pointed out that Smokey would sometimes ban players who do not hack. After those people would get unbanned, the counter would not decreased and continued to rise.
Although the statistics were inaccurate, the 10,000th ban showed the power of the server's anti-cheat system and also showed its reliability, despite the accidental bans.

A micronation is just like any country in the world that claims a territory, citizens, a government, and can engage in diplomacy with other countries, but it is not recognized by any higher countries, or known as macronations.
SAN FIERRO - A micronation was formed in San Fierro last May 7. The country was called as the People's State of San Andreas, and currently covers 3.0625 sq. km of San Fierro's western districts. The micronation also boasts its 3 citizens.
According to its president, His Excellency Migs Caldeo, he said that the country was made out of interest for micronations, as well as being inspired of a well-known micronation named the Republic of Molossia, in Nevada, United States.
The country currently boasts a written constitution, a national anthem, and a soon to be formed armed forces named the People's National Army. The micronation is also engaging in diplomatic affairs with other countries, with Molossia, being the first country to establish ties with the nation. The country is currently waiting for the Republic of Ultamiya's reply to its invitation.

Also, it seems that XGames would not be formed again due to DeHavilland announcing his intentions of running the San Andreas region of the People's State of San Andreas.

San Andreas faces housing problem again
by Migs, published May 19
SAN FIERRO - San Andreas is yet again facing another housing problem. This is after all of the houses in San Andreas, even the ones added to solve last year's similar problem, had been sold leaving the $60,000,000 mansion in Happyland the only house not being sold.
Many are now homeless. Not only the newly arrived workers are affected, and even the long-residing citizens are included.
So far, there are no plans yet to solve this crisis.
