SAN FIERRO - According to the San Andreas Police Department, crime rates in the state are going to increase.

Recently, robbers had become more daring in committing crimes. New crimes were reported, such as house robberies, and hijackings of armored vans.

San Andreas News, during its patrol around the state, captured two images which showed a robbery in progress, and the supposed unload point of stolen goods.

Reports are also coming in that violent fights are now erupting between armored van drivers and hijackers.

The police are reminding the people that people should keep a close watch over their residences to avoid any robberies.

WET COUNTY - New roadsigns and a toll plaza were added in Wet County this week.

Roadsigns were added in major thoroughfares around Wet County, while a toll plaza was built in Fir Island.

The new toll plaza in Fir Island is causing a controversy due to the easiness of motorcycles to skip the tolls. The police also expects that suspects are to use Eyre Island as a new location to evade the cops, since the toll plaza blocks any suspect's escape path.

SAN FIERRO - Roadworks had begun in the cities of San Fierro and Los Santos.

In San Fierro, roadworks are being done in the Downtown Interchange area of the San Fierro Bypass. Officials say that the roadworks are being done to repair the aging structure of the bypass.

In Los Santos, roadworks are being done in Los Santos Highway and in Richman district.

The roadworks left heavy traffic on the mentioned areas, especially on the San Fierro Bypass in which the whole 4-lane highway was closed to traffic.

According to officials from the San Andreas Highways Office, the roadworks are expected to be done in months.
